*UPDATED SHUTTLE INFO* We have arranged transportation to and from the wedding ceremony/reception through Harriet Quarles Transportation. They will be providing van service throughout the day. Through conversations with the "locals" and our van service, it's recommended to use our arranged transportation if consuming adult beverages as police tend to troll Hwy. 61 regularly, especially on the weekends. Too bad that Bob Dylan ruined it for us by revisiting the highway and making it so popular...
If you are staying in or near Grand Marais, two vans, each holding a dozen people, will leave from the Aspen Lodge motel lobby/main entrance (310 E Highway 61) at 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. (The wedding begins at 3:00 p.m.) So if you would like a ride, please be there at either of those times.
If you are staying at Naniboujou Lodge please let the front desk know which of these shuttles you'd like to have pick you up, and they will contact Harriet for you. If you are staying along Croftville Road and would like to use the shuttle to the wedding, please contact Harriet directly - her cell phone # is 218-370-9164 and her email is harrietq@boreal.org.
Van service to Grand Marais from the reception in Hovland will run continuously beginning at 10:00 p.m. It should be noted cell service will not work at the wedding and reception location. Additionally, a ride can be arranged Sunday morning back to the reception if for some reason vehicles are left at the Town Hall that night.
